Special Care For Your Dog

We understand that owning and caring for a dog is great fun and immensely rewarding. But it's also a big responsibility - on average, dogs live for around twelve years, but many live for much longer. And with some dogs having complex needs, each dog is unique. This is why there is no one 'perfect' way to care for all dogs.

Our services centre on a personalised, small and friendly approach, where we get to know your dog to build up their trust (and also your trust) as we know how worrying it can be to leave you pooch in the care of someone else.

Important to note

Please note that all dogs that come into our care should be neutered or spayed (unless a young puppy). They should be house trained and should not be aggressive or dominant. As a minimum, your dogs vaccinations should be up to date and we require sight of these documents (DHLPP and Bordatella - aka kennel cough]). It is also a very good idea that your dog is using effective flea & tick preventatives. Please also make sure that your dog has been to the toilet before dropping him or her of with us.

Doggy Day Care

Doggy day care refers to short-term daytime care for dogs. It differs from kennels and pet sitting as we look after your dog at our premises during the daytime.

You drop off and pick up your dog with us where they will receive a minimum of two 30-minute walks during their stay with us, lots of mental stimulation, lots of fun, and lots of cuddles and hugs. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a collection and/or drop off service.

Please feed your dog their breakfast before dropping them off as some dogs get anxious eating in front of other dogs. We provide lots of water and healthy treats (if allowed), with lots of exercise (and lots of love and attention) throughout the day. Your dog should be microchipped and please make sure it is wearing a collar (and ideally a name tag) and don't forget to bring their lead. Dogs that come to us for day care should also be neutered or spayed (all dogs >12 months of age) and also have their vaccinations up to date.
